A CLI Radiance videoconferencing system is installed in the Hanna Medical Center at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This center is equipped for emergencies and is also being used to provide medical examinations for drivers. Doctors at Methodist Hospital of Indiana can examine patients in real-time and interactively over the television-like equipment.

In addition, this system has special peripherals that monitor and videotape the race track during crashes for replay to the hospital. The second videoconferencing system is located at Methodist Hospital of Indiana, in downtown Indianapolis, where it has been customized to fit into the dispatch center for lifeline helicopters.

Steve Neal, director, telecommunications at Methodist Hospital of Indiana said that he chose CLI videoconferencing for this application because of "the Company's strong leadership position in applying videoconferencing technology to the medical field. The Radiance product is the videoconferencing system being used at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This family of group videoconferencing systems achieves television-quality video at up to 30 frames per second and 480 lines of resolution The number of horizontal lines on a TV or computer screen. The term typically refers to TV sets; for example, wide screen digital TVs have 720 or 1,080 lines of resolution, while analog TV uses 525 lines. VHS tapes can render from 240 to 260 lines. .
