) CLECexpo Fall 2000, the leading event for Competitive Local Exchange Carriers, opens today at the Adam's Mark Hotel, Denver. The show runs through Thursday, September 14, 2000.

CLECexpo highlights issues and opportunities being created by the convergence of the telecommunications, cable and Internet industries. "This is an emerging marketplace full of controversy where regulatory agencies, industry representatives and the courts are literally writing the ground rules day by day," stated Denise Kettler, Group Show Director.

CLECexpo Fall 2000 will also host several educational conference sessions.
