 $10,280 to the Lancaster Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre.  Foundation.

Part of the donation will go to the center's Business, Education and Arts partnership, paying the way for 320 local youngsters to attend a live-theater production.

The donation will also help support the foundation's Arts for Youth program that pays for special performances, workshops and education materials; the theater's annual open house; and the 2003 holiday production, ``Christmas Carol, A Musical.''

The foundation was established in 1989 to provide supplemental financial support to the theater, which is part of the city's Parks, Recreation and Arts Department.
