CLASSIC CAR SHOW TO HELP NEEDY.

The Valencia AutoSpa will host its monthly Charity Cruise Night on Saturday on behalf of the Santa Clarita Valley Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's holiday toy drive. The event is free, but monetary or toy donations are welcome and the owners of the cars being showcased in the event will pay a $5 entry fee to buy toys for children from needy families.

The contributions will be distributed to needy children in the Santa Clarita Valley, sheriff's Deputy Tom Drake said.

``We enjoy the AutoSpa's Christmas Cruise Night,'' Drake said. ``Not only do participants have the opportunity to show off their restored vehicles and earn a chance to win a trophy, they have the joy of serving those in need by helping with our local toy drive.''

The Cruise Night will feature more than 100 late model and classic cars. There are vintage cars from the 1920s through the 1970s featuring a mint condition 1957 T-Bird, a Rolls Royce, late model Mustangs, Corvettes, Hudsons, muscle cars and a 1937 Buick Roadster. There will be games for the children and also a visit from Santa Claus.

``We are hoping people will give generously to the toy drive,'' said Randy Cressall, co-owner of the AutoSpa.

Christmas Cruise Night will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the AutoSpa complex, 23500 Valencia Blvd. In addition to Cruise Night, the AutoSpa will remain a toy drive collection site through Dec. 23. Donations should be new, unwrapped toys, appropriate for children 3 to 12. For information, call (661) 254-2000.
