CLASP releases publication on reducing poverty.


By the Center for Law and Social Policy and the Spotlight Spotlight can refer to at least three types of lighting:
  • a searchlight;
  • stage lighting used in theatre to focus an audience's attention on a performer or event, known as a Followspot;

It also offers charts detailing these actions by particular policy area. The publication furthers the endeavors of many national research, think tank and advocacy organizations to help establish the issue of poverty on the national political agenda. All three leading presidential candidates, in concert with growing state efforts, are on record with a public commitment to address poverty and opportunity in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. .
