HypnoBirthing, which is a trademarked name, belongs to Marie Mongan. The Institute has trained thousands of HypnoBirthing Practitioners worldwide. Michelle Leclaire O'Neill Michelle Leclaire O'Neill, PhD, R.N. is currently the most prevalent source of information about hypnobirthing and mindful pregnancy. I do not understand how you could print an article on HypnoBirthing when the person you interviewed is not a practitioner and does not teach our program. To claim, ``Although there are other practitioners who use the term,'' suggests that we who are actual HypnoBirthing practitioners are using her name when the name and the program have been owned and trademarked by Mongan.
