Clancy was injured during a one-on-one drill with Iowa forward Reggie Evans at America West Arena when he suffered the injury.

``He dislocated the patella patella (pətĕl`ə): see kneecap.  on his left knee,'' Suns trainer Aaron Nelson said. ``He's having more testing to make sure there's no further injury.''

The Suns were expected to perform a magnetic-resonance imaging test Monday evening, but Clancy also wanted to fly back to Los Angeles to seek further treatment. With the NBA draft taking place June 26, Clancy might have problems recovering in time to participate in many individual workouts for other NBA NBA

``You want to play hard and show what you can do, but you worry about injuries obviously,'' Prince said. ``This is not the best time to get hurt. It just shows how important it is to have a degree to fall back on.''

The Suns were the first team Clancy was scheduled to work out with, and he is currently projected as a late first-round draft pick. The Suns have the 22nd selection in the first round.
