CKS Group, Inc. Completes Acquisition of Donovan and Green, Inc.; Adds Premier Information Design Company.

 Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: CKSG) today announced the completion of its acquisition of Donovan and Green on January 3, 1997 pursuant to an agreement signed in October.

Donovan and Green is a premier integrated marketing communications firm with a strong emphasis in environmental design, brand identity and imaging and the evolving discipline of information architecture -- which Donovan and Green defines as the discipline of organizing and communicating complex information and making it accessible and understandable.

Donovan and Green designs and manages the development of images and identity, new retail formats and information and entertainment environments, including the development of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library public exhibition space, the Corning Glass Headquarters exhibition in New York, new retail store formats for Hallmark Cards and a pharmaceutical information system for Hoffman LaRoche utilizing the company's Intranet. Donovan and Green's other clients include Sony Corporation of America, Coca Cola, Citibank, Texas Instruments, Celebrity Cruises and 3M.

CKS Group purchased 100% of Donovan and Green, a privately held company. The consideration paid by CKS Group was cash at closing with contingent payments to be in both cash and common stock of CKS Group and was accounted for as a purchase. The purchase price was not disclosed.

As a result of the acquisition, Donovan and Green has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of CKS Group and Nancye Green, founding partner of Donovan and Green, has joined the executive staff of CKS Group. The Company will continue to operate under the Donovan and Green name.
