CITY TO STUDY CLOSING STREETS FOR AUTO MALL.Byline: Helen Gao Staff Writer GLENDALE - Seeking to expand their businesses and upgrade to a more plaza-like auto mall environment, dealerships on South Brand Boulevard have proposed closing portions of four streets and three alleyways. The City Council, acting as the Redevelopment Agency, voted 4-1 Tuesday to allocate $40,000 to hire engineers to determine the traffic impact of the closures.
