Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country, International Film Festival will open this weekend, the only such event for ``family-themed'' films and screenplays. Residents are invited to see the films, meet the casts and crews and sit in on panel discussions at the fifth annual film fiesta at the Edwards Cinemas at the Valencia Valencia, region, Spain Valencia (välān`thēä), autonomous region (1990 pop. 3,902,429) and former kingdom, E Spain, on the Mediterranean. It now comprises the provinces of Alicante, Castellón, and Valencia. Town Center. Daily screenings will run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and general admission price is $5 to all films and panel discussions. The final awards dinner is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25. Tickets are $75. A closing reception will follow at 8 p.m. with admission priced at $25.
