CITY TO GO IKEA CRAZY! Tens of thousands of shoppers expected to flock to ground-breaking store.

IT'S being hailed as the biggest store opening in Coventry for over 60 years.

In eight days, tens of thousands of shoppers will descend on the city's huge Ikea store.

 of the new venue which has seven floors, 50 room sets and three fullsize homes showcasing an astonishing 9,500 products.

It is the first Ikea to be built in a city centre in Britain and on Sunday, December 16, shoppers from across the region are expected at the opening.

More than 14,000 people have been invited to a preview the day before.

Special security teams will be on standby to try to cope with the crowds following chaos at the opening of other major Ikea stores.
