Some thought ECR's run would end this season. It graduated six players from last year's title team. Palisades has won 24 section championships in the past 40 years, 18 more than any other school. The Dolphins are the only other boys' tennis team to win five consecutive titles (1995-1999, 1969-1973). Palisades was one of the preseason favorites to end ECR's dominance.
