CITY SETTLES LAPD DETECTIVE'S SUIT.

The City Council voted Wednesday to pay $175,000 to Detective Belinda Gomez to settle a lawsuit in which she alleged she was sexually harassed by another police detective when they both worked in the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Police Department's Administrative Vice Division.
