``They're donating the materials and the labor to board it up so we can meet the (county)'s citation time request,'' said Quartz Hill Town Council member Sheila Kennedy Sheila Kennedy is a model and actress who was the December 1981 Penthouse Pet of the Month and the 1983 Penthouse Pet of the Year.

But the day the house was trucked the half-mile to Frommer's property, a county inspector issued him a citation labeling the structure an attractive nuisance Noun 1. attractive nuisance - anything on your premises that might attract children into danger or harm; "their swimming pool is an attractive nuisance; they should fence it in" , Kennedy said.

The house may have been the oldest in Palmdale. Assessor's records indicate it was built in 1890 by one of three Godde brothers who moved to the Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region. For the census-designated place in Wyoming, see Antelope Valley-Crestview, Wyoming.

The house's age was discovered by Palmdale resident Roy Ramirez, who lives near its original location, while he was doing research to fight the city's approval of the housing tract.

The Quartz Hill Town Council is now accepting offers from any organization that would like to restore the building.

Suggestions have included converting it to a Farm Bureau office, genealogical library or historical society museum, Kennedy said.

``We're giving them 30 days to submit a letter of intent, then we're going to decide what the procedures will be for letting it go,'' Kennedy said.

``We'd like to see it saved obviously and to be used for something like a museum or library or office space for some historical society,'' said Frommer.
