Candidates are wanted for the city's Cultural Affairs Advisory Committee, which provides leadership, vision, connection and commitment to cultural arts development in Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987.  currently has one vacancy VACANCY. A place which is empty. The term is principally applied to cases where an office is not filled.

The CAAC represents the broad scope and view of the community at large. Representatives of the CAAC work hand-in-hand with an array of volunteers from the community including artists, business leaders, educators and the city commissioners.
