Verdugo Hills 56, Hollywood 13: The visiting Dons (4-4, 3-2) dominated the Sheiks (1-7, 0-5) from the first snap in a Northern Conference game, scoring their first touchdown within five minutes of the opening kickoff and leading 28-0 after one quarter.

Sean Standley scored on TD runs of 14 and 5 yards, and Ethan Slimak threw scoring passes to Charlie Coronado (5 yards) and Andre Cole (27 yards) in the opening period.

Slimak finished 11 of 17 for 166 yards and four touchdowns. Coronado had catches for 66 yards and two touchdowns and Cole added two TD catches totaling 40 yards.

Jeff Capuano had an 81-yard kickoff return with 8:31 left in the second quarter to put the Dons ahead 35-7. Brian Puma capped the Verdugo Hills scoring with a 28-yard fumble return at the close of the third quarter.

Hollywood wide receiver Daniel Crockett had 174 yards on eight catches, including both Sheiks' touchdowns.

Eagle Rock 26, Marshall 23: The Eagles took a big step toward making the playoffs in a controversial overtime Northern Conference victory over the Barristers at Eagle Rock High.

With no time remaining and Marshall lining up for the winning field goal after a defensive personal foul at the Eagles' 9-yard line, the referees ruled that the game had ended prior to a late hit, denying the Barristers the game-winning field-goal attempt in regulation.

Eagle Rock (5-3, 3-2) had tied the score with 36 seconds remaining on a 6-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Oliver Palomino Palomino

Chatsworth 34, Cleveland 13: Tailback Tramain Cullors rushed 17 times for 145 yards and three first-half touchdowns, as the Chancellors rolled past the visiting Cavaliers in a Northwest Valley game.

Cullors' first touchdown came on a 2-yard run midway Midway, island group (2 sq mi/5.2 sq km), central Pacific, c.1,150 mi (1,850 km) NW of Honolulu, comprising Sand and Eastern islands with the surrounding atoll. The Regents (3-5, 2-3) were led by quarterback Jamaal Washington who completed 10 of his 17 passes for 51 yards. Washington also carried the ball 12 times for 62 yards.

Ramon Rivera scored on a 10-yard run with 4:35 left in the second quarter to put San Fernando ahead 7-3. On their next possession, Stanley capped a three play, 78-yard drive with a 10 yard touchdown run to give the Tigers a 14-3 lead at the half.

In the third quarter, Rivera intercepted two passes, returning one for a 45 yard touchdown. Rivera also recovered a fumble.
