With the victory, the Highlanders (15-2) earned a second straight trip to the City finals, in which they will again take on No.2 Taft, which they defeated for the title last season.

The semifinal match was never in doubt, as Granada Hills used its superior power to jump on the Wolves.

Brian Bai led the Wolves with 26 assists, and Billy Jung recorded 10 kills.

In addition to Granada Hills' win over Taft in last year's final, it has also beaten the Wildcats twice this season.

But Taft is playing inspired, and like the Highlanders, has yet to lose a game during this postseason.
