 Walker ran for 326 yards and five touchdowns to lead Monroe Monroe.

 Alejandro Badillo recovered a fumble by Eagle Rock quarterback James Regalado with 1 minute, 14 seconds remaining in the game to thwart a potential winning drive and secure the upset for host Marshall in a Northern Conference game.

After three scoreless quarters, Eagle Rock (4-3, 3-1) scored the game's first points early in the fourth period.

Eagles safety Ray Rosas recovered a fumble at the Marshall 3-yard line. On fourth-and-goal, Eagles fullback Rhuben Williams took the handoff Switching a cellular phone transmission from one cell to another as a mobile user moves into a new cellular area. The Parrots (1-6) used a ground-control offense to defeat the Huskies at Poly High School Friday night for their first win of the season.

The Parrots set the tone on their first possession by marching 66 yards on 14 plays during a scoring drive that included the first of Robert Diaz's two touchdowns on a 1-yard run.

The Parrots built a 21-3 third-quarter lead before the Huskies' Oryan Quintinilla returned a kickoff 64 yards for a TD to put North Hollywood back in the game.

Following another North Hollywood touchdown by Oscer Mendoza, Parrots backup running back David Valencia's ran for a 21-yard score to put the game out of reach.

Chatsworth 18, Cleveland 2: Ryan Martinez took the opening kickoff 95 yards as the visiting Chancellors (4-3, 2-2) beat the Cavaliers (1-6, 0-4) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Cleveland.

Reggie Leersion kicked a 33-yard field goal with nine seconds remaining in the first half. The field goal capped an 80-yard scoring drive that included pass completions of 14, 16 and 35 yards by Chancellors quarterback Ryan Martinez, who completed 3 of 8 passes for 65 yards.

Mark Harris completed the scoring for the Chancellors with a fumble recovery that he returned 82 yards for a touchdown.

Hollywood 35, Verdugo Hills 7: Defensive Back Marquez Foster had three interceptions and scored two touchdowns to lead the Sheiks (2-2, 2-5) to a Northern Conference win over the Dons (0-4, 0-7) at Hollywood.

Foster, who returned his third interception 47 yards for the final score with 4:19 left in the third quarter, also caught three passes - one for a score - from Elmer Garcia (6 of 10 for 64 yards).

Steve Cloud rushed for 76 yards on 12 carries and Evan Armstrong scored on a 1-yard run for Verdugo Hills, which held a 7-0 first-quarter lead.

Atkins rushed for three touchdowns and threw for 96 yards on six completions, including two touchdown passes.
