Holland caught two passes from Exavier Johnson for 114 yards, including a 78-yard score in the first quarter, and added a 70-yard punt return for a touchdown in the fourth.

Smith caught a 78-yard touchdown pass from Johnson early in the second quarter, rushed for a 3-yard score in the third and completed a 36-yard pass to Holland to set up Taft's first score, an Andre Harris 1-yard run.

The Toreadors scored five touchdowns before Armaun Linton scored for Narbonne. The Gauchos fumbled three times, losing one, and missed two field goals.

Narbonne's Major Culburt rushed for 163 yards on 30 carries.

--Canoga Park 53, Van Nuys 12: Visiting Canoga Park scored 34 unanswered points in the first half en route to the victory, its fourth in a row.

Quarterback Vince Argott connected with six different receivers and finished 13 of 18 for 227 yards and two touchdowns for Canoga Park (4-1).

Van Nuys (0-5) got two second-half touchdowns - one rushing, one receiving - by Vahe Shatakhyan and quarterback Kyle Ochoa completed 17 of 35 passes for 226 yards.

--Cleveland 21, Monroe 14: After surrendering a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter, Travis Wallace scored from 1 yard out with less than four minutes remaining to give Cleveland the nonleague victory over Monroe.

Wallace, Ewayn Pigford, and Chris Martinez combined to rush for 129 yards on 32 carries for Cleveland.

Don Senegal led Monroe with 66 yards passing and a 1-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter. Ahmad Paden caught five passes for 44 yards and had an interception for Cleveland. Chris Martinez scored from 1 yard out in the second quarter, giving Cleveland a 14-0 lead at halftime, and also had an interception.

--Reseda 9, Hamilton 6: Larry Looney rushed for 175 yards on 26 carries to lead host Reseda.

Johan Castro intercepted a pass with less than two minutes remaining to help Reseda (1-4) end a Hamilton of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  (3-2) drive that reached the Reseda 30-yard line. Antwum Baker had seven catches for 70 yards and teammate Laurent Bernadel had five for 37 yards for North Hollywood. Sophomore Trevor Kohli added 43 yards on nine carries.
