CITY POLICE WORKER IN CHILD PORN SHAME; Man admits downloading hundreds of images.Byline: Emma Stone CRIME A CIVILIAN police worker in Coventry has admitted downloading more than 1,000 images of child porn. David Charles Jones David Charles Jones (born July 9, 1921) is a retired United States air force officer and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. David C. Jones was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota and raised in Minot, North Dakota. He graduated from Minot High School. , of Woodway Lane, Woodway Park, pleaded guilty to 18 counts during a hearing at Warwick Crown Court yesterday. The 56-year-old was arrested while working at Little Park Street police station in the city centre. At the time of his arrest he held a civilian role at the station's control room. His job was to handle calls made to the station's switchboard. During yesterday's crown court hearing, Jones pleaded guilty to downloading 1,104 still and moving indecent images of children. The court heard the images were downloaded between June 2007 and July 2009. They were classified by police as ranging from levels one to five, with five being the most serious. Among those downloaded by Jones, two were of moving images and 439 were "pseudo Similar to; made up to appear like something else. See pseudo compiler, pseudo language and pseudonymous. The charges are understood to relate to Jones's personal computer. After entering his pleas, Judge Marten marten, name for carnivorous, largely arboreal mammals (genus Martes) of the weasel family, widely distributed in North America, Europe, and central Asia. Martens are larger, heavier-bodied animals than weasels, with thick fur and bushy tails. Coates ordered Jones to sign on to the sex offenders' register. The length of time he will have to sign on for will be decided at a later hearing. Jones will return to Warwick Crown Court in the week commencing November 16 when he will be sentenced. He remains on conditional bail. After his arrest he was suspended sus·pend v. sus·pend·ed, sus·pend·ing, sus·pends v.tr. 1.
