Belmont's Saul Villa was virtually a one-man scoring machine Thursday, scoring 17 of his team's points while rushing for 183 yards on 21 carries to lead the Sentinels to a 23-20 victory over Hamilton in a City Division first-round playoff game Noun 1. playoff game - one game in the series of games constituting a playoff

Hamilton (3-4, 3-7) came close to winning the game, but Royce Cooley was stopped 3 yards short as time ran out.
