MADD seeks to find effective solutions to the problems of drunk driving and underage drinking, while also supporting those persons whose relatives and friends have been killed by drunk said her organization supports the new policy as a way to save children. ``Without a uniform policy, you have people who make a choice to drink ... and then make a choice for their child, to put them in the car,'' Pasco said. ``Those children have no way to protect themselves.'' Delgadillo said his office will begin immediately to file child endangerment charges against suspected drunk drivers with children in their cars. ``We must send a clear message to those who choose to drink irresponsibly ir·re·spon·si·ble adj. 1.
