A LIVERPOOL drama group is to perform a stage update of one of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales Canterbury Tales: see Chaucer, Geoffrey.

Dingle Community Theatre's latest production No Fool Like an Old Fool is a cautionary tale A cautionary tale is a traditional story told in folklore, to warn its hearer of a danger.

There are three essential parts to a cautionary tale, though they can be introduced in a large variety of ways.
 about marriage across the age-gap, adapted from the original story The Merchant's Tale.

Chaucer wrote the Canterbury Tales in the 14th century.

The play will be performed at Mount Carmel Catholic Social Club, High Park Street, Toxteth, on Thursday and The Casa Club, Hope Street on Saturday.
