CITY FUNDS FOR KAISER? PALMDALE MEDICAL CLINIC MAY OBTAIN $750,000 ASSIST.

PALMDALE - Palmdale city officials are considering providing a $750,000 assistance package to help Kaiser Permanente Kaiser Permanente is an integrated managed care organization, based in Oakland, California, founded in 1945 by industrialist Henry J. Mayor Jim Ledford said he favors helping Kaiser because of the medical services and good-paying jobs the clinic will bring Palmdale. Any industry bringing in 100 jobs would get similar city help, he said.

``They're bringing nurses, doctors, jobs to our city,'' Ledford said.

The assistance package will be considered by the City Council at its meeting tonight.
