CITY FLAG POLICY MAY FLY GLENDALE SET FOR BANNER TALK.Byline: Helen Gao Staff Writer GLENDALE - Hoping to avoid controversy on April 24 - the commemoration day at the University of Oxford, Eng., an annual observance or ceremony in honor of the benefactors of the University, at which time honorary degrees are conferred. The city flag - which is gold and bears Glendale's seal - would be used to mark other occasions. ``I think there is enough support for this, so I intend to vote for the resolution,'' Councilman Bob Yousefian said Monday. ``To me that sounds more reasonable and more logical.''
