 stopped by City Hall on Wednesday to talk government over tea and Danish, but City Council members served up a few gag gifts during the breakfast meeting.

Antonovich will tie the knot with Christine Hu, a Rowland Heights resident who was an actress in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong and has appeared in Mandarin-language television shows.

``We didn't play shower games because we had a heavy agenda,'' Santa Clarita city spokeswoman Gail Ortiz joked.

The City Hall meeting room was decorated with bride-and-groom napkins, a heart-shaped metallic balloon with the message ``Congratulations,'' and a handful of crepe-paper wedding bells.

``He was more speechless than I've ever seen him,'' Ortiz said.
