 an airport commissioner, stating she was too hard-line on expansion plans, the Burbank City Council tonight is set to consider dismissing her replacement for being too soft on the airport.

John Flynn earned the ire of council members for his vote last month to retain the firm that manages the airport - instead of allowing other companies to bid on the contract.

The council, which appoints three of nine members to the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority, favored inviting other firms to compete with Glendale-based Airport Group International.
