CITY AGENCY BACKS MOVE BY THEATER CONCERN VOICED ABOUT SURROUNDING PARKING.

GLENDALE Glendale.

 going to have issues on parking with this thing,'' Mayor Bob Yousefian said. ``I think we are contributing the land for nothing, so at least we should require from them (that) they build at least one level of parking.''

Theater company representatives did not comment on the parking concerns.

The plan is to lease land on North Louise Street north of Broadway, which the city purchased for $975,000, to the nonprofit A corporation or an association that conducts business for the benefit of the general public without shareholders and without a profit motive.
