CITY'S SUMMER ARTWALK WILL GO DOWN SATURDAY.Byline: - Cecilia Chan Beauty salons, antique shops and even shoe stores will be transformed into galleries on Saturday, when more than 150 local artists will display their paintings and sculptures during Ventura's Summer ArtWalk. ``ArtWalk promotes visual artists and increases cultural tourism in our city,'' ArtWalk coordinator Kelly Self-Miller said. ``Ventura's ArtWalk is very unique. ``I can't think of any other art festival doing it this way - merchants downtown become galleries for the day.'' The city has held the free event three times a year for eight years now. The Fall ArtWalk is Oct. 26.
