CITY, TEAM TO NET CASH IN STADIUM RENAMING.Byline: Gideon Rubin Staff Writer LANCASTER - Lancaster Municipal Stadium would be renamed Clear Channel Stadium at Lancaster under a proposed deal that will net the city and the JetHawks minor-league baseball team $77,000 a year. In a joint news conference Tuesday at the city-owned stadium, JetHawks, city and Clear Channel Communications Not to be confused with clear channel radio stations, which are AM radio stations with certain technical parameters. Clear Channel Communications (NYSE: CCU) is a media conglomerate company based in the United States. officials announced the terms of the deal, which requires a vote scheduled Feb. 8 by the City Council. ``It's a good deal for the city, it's a good deal for the JetHawks and it's a good deal for Clear Channel,'' Councilman Ed Sileo said. ``Anytime you get three parties feeling it's a good deal, particularly with Clear Channel putting out the money, it's good for everybody.'' The 10-year deal is worth $770,000, or more than 50 percent above the approximately $500,000 a source familiar with the negotiations told the Daily News last week.
