CITY'S FORMER CHIEF OF PLANNING TO SERVE ON ASSOCIATION BOARD.

Lambert, whose service takes effect June 6, will represent a region that includes California, Nevada and the Pacific U.S. territories. The association is a 39,000-member organization committed to planning communities.

The 13-member board sets the association's policy direction and strategic goals.

He became a certified planner in 1990.
