"In the past, we had outsourced our payment processing services to a small Pennsylvania firm who processed our transactions through their dialup BBS (1) (Bulletin Board System) A computer system used as an information source and forum for a particular interest group. They were widely used in the U.S.  system. This was sufficient for small transaction volumes. However, with the rapid growth of our Internet-based e-Commerce business and the need to have scalable enterprise interpretability between multiple banks, credit card companies and our clients, we have decided that it would be best if CitX established its own e-commerce transaction processing facilities.

"We are in the process of establishing relationships with several banks and credit card companies to bring them in as Service Partners in the new IntraPay iPX Partners Program to provide our clients with national and even international secure payment processing services," adds Roemmele.
