CITEL SUPPLIES PORTCO TELEPHONE VOIP ADAPTOR TO PHONOSCOPE.

. PBX handsets connect over existing wiring directly to the Portico TVA, which connects to Phonoscope's network over Ethernet via the SIP protocol.

"Many enterprises are considering Hosted IP telephony for its cost savings, rich features, and simplicity, but they are hesitant to abandon their PBX handset and wiring investment," said Michael Burke, Citel's senior vice president. "With Phonoscope's long history in the access services business and their Asterisk-based Hosted IP platform, we believe the Citel solution will have a positive impact on their growth in the Houston market."

The Citel Portico TVA is available in digital, P phone, and analog compatible configurations.
