CIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. BEGINS OUTSOURCING RELATIONSHIP WITH TULANE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL AND CLINIC.


TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 6, 1995--CIS Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ/NM:CISI (company) CISI - A French software producer. ) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Tulane University Hospital and Clinic (TUHC TUHC Tactical Utility Helicopter Company ) to provide billing and accounts receivable accounts receivable n. the amounts of money due or owed to a business or professional by customers or clients. Generally, accounts receivable refers to the total amount due and is considered in calculating the value of a business or the business' problems in paying  management services for its hospital-based clinic patient accounts. In an effort to lower costs, improve cash flow, and effectively manage accounts receivable, TUHC requested bids to outsource the entire billing and follow-up operations for its increasing volume of outpatient ancillary and hospital-based clinic accounts. Under the terms of the agreement, all outpatient ancillary and hospital-based clinic claims will be transferred electronically from TUHC's patient accounting system to CIS' Extended Business Office operation in Atlanta. From there, the CIS Professional Services staff will provide complete account follow-up and collection services, including all telephone calls, correspondence, documentation, and adjustments required to bring the account to a zero balance. This project is very similar to the outsourcing services CIS is providing for another prestigious teaching facility -- New York University New York University, mainly in New York City; coeducational; chartered 1831, opened 1832 as the Univ. of the City of New York, renamed 1896.
