TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 14, 1995--Circuit Research Labs, Inc. ("CRL") (The Nasdaq Stock Market: CRLI) today announced unaudited results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 1995.

Commenting on the results, Ronald R. Jones, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Circuit Research Labs, stated, "Improved gross margins and a 17.6% reduction in SG&A expenses resulted in the decrease in the Company's net loss for the three and six month periods as compared to a year ago. Following three consecutive profitable quarters, CRL's net loss during the second quarter was primarily attributable to decreased sales levels and increased research and development costs associated with contract engineering work on our forthcoming DP100 and RDS/RBDS units. We anticipate that production of these new units will begin during the third quarter of 1995."

Circuit Research Labs entered the third quarter with approximately $1,310,195 in working capital and a current ratio of 11 to 1.
