CINDAS databases now available through CSA.Two databases from the Center for Information and Numerical Data Numerical data (or quantitative data) is data measured or identified on a numerical scale. Numerical data can be analysed using statistical methods, and results can be displayed using tables, charts, histograms and graphs. Analysis and Synthesis (CINDAS CINDAS Center for Information and Numerical Data Synthesis and Analysis ) at Purdue University Purdue University (pərdy `, -d `), main campus at West Lafayette, Ind. have been newly
integrated into the CSA (1) (Canadian Standards Association, Toronto, Ontario, www.csa.ca) A standards-defining organization founded in 1919. It is involved in many industries, including electronics, communications and information technology. Illumina platform, providing a software solution
allowing users to visualize the properties of selected materials under
varying conditions. CINDAS Thermophysical Properties of Matter Database
and CINDAS Microelectronics Packaging Materials Database A materials database is a database used to store experimental, standards or design data for materials in such a way that they can be retrieved efficiently by humans or computer programs. provide
critically evaluated data in an interactive environment. These resources
allow users to manipulate parameters and variables to assess the
performance of one or more materials, providing the unique ability to
graph and compare multiple data sets. CINDAS Thermophysical Properties
of Matter Database contains thermophysical properties of more than 5,000
materials with approximately 50,000 data curves. CINDAS Microelectronics
Packaging Materials Database provides properties of more than 750
materials and contains more than 15,000 data curves. Both databases are
updated and expanded on a regular basis; searches produce reliable
results, featuring consistent formats and the power of the CSA Illumina
platform.
