CINAR Twins With Flextech Rights in the UK: New Series in Production.

CINAR Corporation (NASDAQ:CINR) (ME:CIF.A.) (TSE:CIF.A.) (ME:CIF.B.) (TSE:CIF.B.) announced today that it has joined forces with Flextech Rights Ltd. to co-produce a brand new children's animation series, TWINS, in association with ITV in the UK and YTV in Canada. The series is currently in production at CINAR Animation for broadcast in Autumn 2000.

TWINS (26 x 10 minutes/13 x 24 minutes) follows the misadventures of twins Nelly and Lil, five year old sisters who couldn't be more different. Lil is blonde and neat, likes fluffy bunnies and being good. Nelly is dark haired, plays in the mud, likes snakes and causing chaos. Both, of course, are convinced theirs is the right way to do anything which leads to hysterical and often outrageous results. The series is based on the best-selling book (Harper Collins) by author and illustrator John Wallace, who is working on the creative team.
