16 New Episodes to be Added

to the PBS KIDS PBS Kids (often styled all-caps as "PBS KIDS") is the umbrella brand for children's programming aired by the Public Broadcasting Service in the United States. ) are pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement to produce 16 new episodes of the popular preschool series, CAILLOU. The new episodes, to air on PBS in January 2003, join the existing 40 CAILLOU programs currently airing Monday through Friday on PBS KIDS.

"We are thrilled to be bringing new CAILLOU episodes in partnership with PBS to preschoolers. The 16 new episodes, which brings our total to 56 half-hours for the series, will help to further extend the CAILLOU experience to families," said Louis Fournier, CINAR's recently appointed Head of Distribution.
