"The BBC are really pleased to have pre-bought MONA the VAMPIRE and to see it doing so very well in the ratings on BBC1," said Theresa Plummer-Andrews, Head of Children's Acquisitions and Co-Productions at the BBC.

"MONA THE VAMPIRE is a dynamic and top quality series with unbeatable exposure throughout the UK on the BBC and Nick UK," said John McInnerny, Managing Director of Allsorts Media Limited. "I think Mona does so well in the ratings because the animation is first-class and looks distinctly different. This translates well in the market aimed at girls between the ages of five and ten years...a very large and untapped market in the UK at the moment. This, together with the support of The Watts Publishing Group, makes us extremely excited about the possibilities that Mona presents."
