CINAR Corporation is proud to announce that Yoplait Canada has renewed its national sponsorship deal to use CAILLOU to promote its Minigo fresh cheese.

Yoplait has extended its sponsorship for an additional year in order to continue capitalizing on the popularity of four-year old CAILLOU, star of the popular Teletoon and PBS Kids PBS Kids (often styled all-caps as "PBS KIDS") is the umbrella brand for children's programming aired by the Public Broadcasting Service in the United States. As with all PBS programming, PBS Kids programming is non-commercial.  preschool series. Over the past three years, sales of Minigo fresh cheese have surged thanks in part to the tremendously successful Yoplait/CAILLOU sponsorships.

The term was renewed as a result of previous Yoplait/CAILLOU sponsorships, which drove up the sales of Minigo fresh cheese by 30 percent. "We are very excited about our renewed sponsorship deal utilizing the CAILLOU brand because Minigo and CAILLOU are a perfect match," said Cristine Laforest, Senior Product Manager for Yoplait Canada. "Our CAILLOU sponsorship campaign has enabled Yoplait to defend itself against the competition and helped the company increase its share in a very competitive marketplace. Yoplait is looking forward to another exceptional CAILLOU sponsorship campaign."

This year, Yoplait plans to offer three promotions to consumers. The first begins in May when children will be able to collect four CAILLOU ice pop sticks, which double as wands used to blow soap bubbles soap bubble An adjective referring to a dilated, smooth-contoured cyst-like or ballooned, occasionally loculated space(s). A CAILLOU ice pop stick will be included with every purchase of 6x60g package of Minigo fresh cheese. The other two stages of the in-pack collectible sponsorship are in development.

Yoplait began using CAILLOU in a sponsorship campaign during the fall of 1999 to promote its entire Minigo line in Canada. Since then, the company has sponsored seven extremely successful promotions capitalizing on CAILLOU's huge appeal among children. Canadian children were able to collect a variety of CAILLOU collectible items including plastic spoons, zipper zipper
