CIMNET, Inc., Applied Statistics, Inc., and Advanced Systems & Designs Terminate Merger Talks.

CIMNET(R), Inc. (OTC BB: CIMK) announced today that efforts to merge with Applied Statistics, Inc. ("ASI") and Advanced Systems & Design, Inc. have terminated.

CIMNET and ASI have, however, agreed to enter into a co-marketing arrangement and they will jointly develop, promote and market their manufacturing solutions.

Together, CIMNET and ASI will continue to offer a complete, integrated portfolio of industrial production and quality management solutions including Manufacturing Execution System (MES), factory floor management and real-time Statistical Process Control (SPC) solutions, optimizing manufacturing processes. These capabilities are especially critical for globally competitive manufacturing enterprises implementing quality standards and eBusiness strategies.

CIMNET and ASI will continue to work together to develop an integrated portfolio of MES and SPC solutions. The ASI SPC solutions will integrate closely with the next generation of CIMNET MES software currently under development. This next generation of MES software will form the first configurable Web-based MES solution, assisting its customers to optimize their manufacturing processes for eBusiness.
