CIMLINC to Have Expanded Role at Boeing; the Boeing Company confirms the value of CIMLINC's Linkage Solutions with the acquisition of additional software and services.

ITASCA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 29, 1995--CIMLINC Incorporated, the leading supplier of business process improvement solutions, announced today that The Boeing Company has acquired additional software and services with a total value of approximately $7.0 Million.

CIMLINC has been a team member in Boeing's effort to enhance its competitive position with the introduction of world class engineering and production processes since March of this year. At that time, Boeing selected CIMLINC's Linkage HMS CAPP (process planning), and Linkage Shop View Solutions to serve as the integration and delivery vehicle for their planning, design and engineering data.

Based upon the rapid success and demonstrated value of their initial Linkage Solutions, Boeing has added Linkage Shop Floor Workflow, Linkage Engineering Change Management, and Linkage Nonconformance Management Solutions to the process improvement project called DCAC/MRM.

Boeing's DCAC/MRM project is being rolled out across the entire Boeing Commercial Airplane Group (BCAG). The software will ultimately be installed in over 70 sites. CIMLINC Linkage Solutions will reside on Hewlett Packard HP 9000, model 700 and 800 servers running HP/UX. End users will access the Solutions through a variety of workstations, terminals and PCs located throughout the company.
