In addition, he was appointed to serve on the Executive Committee, a group of seven executives chosen by CompTel who will have further responsibilities as the representative body on behalf of the Board, to continue the organization's support and focus of policy advocacy in five key areas: network access, cost-based pricing, enforcement, rights-of-way and international market access. The committee will also act on behalf of the Board when the larger group is not in session ensuring that progress is maintained on current activities and decisions are made promptly as needed.
