CIMA has opened three helplines providing guidance on ethics ethics, in philosophy, the study and evaluation of human conduct in the light of moral principles. Moral principles may be viewed either as the standard of conduct that individuals have constructed for themselves or as the body of obligations and duties that a , whistle-blowing whistle-blowing, exposure of fraud and abuse by an employee. The federal law that legitimated the concept of the whistle-blower, the False Claims Act (1863, revised 1986), was created to combat fraud by suppliers to the federal government during the Civil War.  and legal issues.

 (0800 358 7663;2 +44 (0)20 8849 2303; ethics@ cimagtobal.com) provides free, confidential advice for members and students facing ethical conflicts. It is open from 10am to 4pm on weekdays.

The whistle-blowing advice line provides guidance to UK-based members and students via Public Concern at Work (0800 358 7665; helpline@pcaw.co.uk). The charity's lawyers offer free, confidential advice on how to raise concerns about serious malpractice malpractice, failure to provide professional services with the skill usually exhibited by responsible and careful members of the profession, resulting in injury, loss, or damage to the party contracting those services.  at work.

The legal advice line, run by Law Express, is on 0800 092 1980 (quote CIMA when calling). Open to UK members only, it provides unlimited low-cost guidance on all personal, commercial and employment law issues. There is no restriction on call length and the service extends to partners and also dependants aged under 21.
