:CIM) today announced that shareholders of the Fund have approved the proposal to liquidate To pay and settle the amount of a debt; to convert assets to cash; to aggregate the assets of an insolvent enterprise and calculate its liabilities in order to settle with the debtors and the creditors and apportion the remaining assets, if any, among the stockholders or owners of the  the Fund.

In accordance with the Plan of Liquidation approved by shareholders, the transfer agent books of the Fund will be closed at the close of business on February 3, 2006 and as of that time the Fund will cease its business activities except as provided in the Plan. At that time, shareholders' respective interests in the Fund's assets will be fixed and will not be transferable and the Fund's shares will cease to be traded on the American Stock Exchange American Stock Exchange (AMEX)
