CIDA gives $1m for HIV/AIDS in India. (Health).


OTTAWA -- Canadian International Development Agency The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is a Canadian government agency which administers foreign aid programs in developing countries. CIDA operates in partnership with other Canadian organizations in the public and private sectors as well as other  is contributing to HIV/AIDS HIV/AIDS Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome  prevention in India. CIDA will provide $1 million to the United Nations Population Fund The United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) began funding population programs in 1969. It was renamed the United Nations Population Fund in 1987, but kept its original abbreviation.  to support the integration of HIV/AIDS prevention information into reproductive health services with a special focus on adolescents. 819-953-6238
