CIC announces Windows-based database marketing software; new system tailored to the needs of small- to mid-sized marketing databases.

) designed specifically for the needs of small- to mid-sized marketing databases.

The first application of the industry-specific database marketing software has been tailored to banking and financial institutions, with future versions to address the individual needs of CIC's diverse vertical markets.

Explore is based on the same underlying technology as the company's AnalytiX(R) System software, which is designed for companies with large databases. Explore and AnalytiX are compatible systems, which allows an easy transition to AnalytiX to take advantage of its high-end flexibility and functionality.

"Explore has enhanced targeting and segmenting features, as well as graphical reporting capabilities unparalleled in the industry," said Carol Post, vice president of marketing.

Based on feedback from CIC's customer advisory board, the first release of Explore features industry-specific database structures, including standard fields and report modules, tailored to the needs of small- and mid-sized banking and financial institutions. The system's 15 tightly integrated modules enable users to generate ad-hoc queries, create sophisticated reports, segment customers, perform profitability analyses, modify the database, append To add to the end of an existing structure.  external data and export data for use in other applications. Pricing for Explore starts at $75,000 and is based on the asset size of the institution. It is scheduled to ship in September. Training and telephone and remote access support are provided with the purchase of the software.
