CIBER Expands High-Level Security Services Through Equity Stake.

CIBER, Inc. (NYSE:CBR) today announced its acquisition of a 51 percent equity interest in network security specialist Enspherics(SM) to broaden CIBER's mission-critical security service offerings.

Enspherics, formerly Denver Tech Labs, will help CIBER expand its international security expertise with Enspherics' proven high-end security technology consultants skilled in the government, transaction processing and health care sectors. Terms of the agreement, which are expected to be effective November 15, were not disclosed.

Enspherics provides custom designed security solutions for a variety of clients who operate in high-risk, high-threat and high-profile environments through responsive, specialized teams of talented technologists. Enspherics, based in Englewood, Colo., was incorporated as Denver Technological Laboratories, Inc. in 1992 to evaluate the security of computer systems for the U.S. Government. Since then, Enspherics has designed and deployed mature and comprehensive IT security solutions primarily for large systems in the financial services, telecommunications and aerospace/defense sectors. The company's major customers include First Data, Bank of America, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, IBM, and multiple government agencies including NASA, the Pentagon, Internal Revenue Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
