Paraphrasing from the news release dated April 15, 1998, "The Summit Group has an excellent reputation in industry and will bring a full complement of services to enhance our enterprise-wide package software solutions," stated Mac Slingerlend, CIBER's President and Chief Executive Officer. "The information technology industry is changing rapidly, creating the need for service providers who can move quickly to help clients effectively leverage change. The Summit Group brings the talent, skills and experience necessary for CIBER to continue to offer our clients a premier suite of industry-leading solutions that will give them a competitive edge in the 21st century."

In addition to its ERS consulting services, Summit also provides custom strategic consulting services; Logistics PRO, a state-of-the-art warehouse management system; and AS/400, RS6000 and HP hardware. According to Slingerlend, Summit will become the multi-discipline ERS provider in the CIBER Solutions division.
