CIBER Acquires Century Computer Consultants; Leverages Joint Customer Base to Strengthen Position in Kansas City Market.

CIBER, Inc. (NYSE:CBR) today announced the merger of Overland Park, Kansas-based Century Computer Consultants, Inc. into CIBER.

This business combination will help solidify CIBER's presence in the Kansas City market by expanding existing customer relationships and establishing new ones.

Founded in 1990 by Dennis Baumann, Century provides information technology services to Fortune 500 companies in diversified industries that include telecommunications, retail, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, transportation, health care and finance. The company has successfully grown revenue and profits in a very challenging environment.

Under the agreement, Century and CIBER will merge and operate under the name CIBER. The transaction will be accounted for using the purchase method of accounting. Consideration paid by CIBER will be a combination of cash and stock.
